Project: My French Identity Card (Ma carte d'identité française)¶

Level: Beginner Time: 1–2 hours

Create a "French identity card" for yourself. Write in French:

• Full name (real or invented French name)
• Date of birth (in French format: né(e) le [date] [month] [year])
• Nationality (with correct gender)
• City of origin and current residence
• Profession or student status
• A 3-sentence paragraph introducing yourself in French

Then write a second "card" for a fictional French-speaking person from a non-French country of your choice (Belgium, Quebec, Senegal, etc.). Research one authentic detail about that country and include it in the introduction.

Project: Number Drilling Log¶

Create a personal log of number encounters:

For one week, write down 5 French numbers per day that you encounter in real life (prices in euro, dates, phone numbers, addresses in French media). Write each number in French words. By the end of the week you will have 35 number expressions — and the 70–99 range will be much more familiar.
